
Yes, I slightly burn-browned the second batch of beautiful foraged poke stalks my wonderful friend Betty Decker picked, cleaned, and gave me. My man and I had already eaten one pan full, plus the greens, below.

Earlier in the day, Betty cooked poke for my 96-year old dad. He told her that it was his first time to eat poke - though it had grown all around him all his life. Thank you, angel Betty, for teaching us to forage for goodness all around us.
