The Face of Optimism

Regular readers of Savoring Kentucky know I am not the gardener in my household. I am, however, the Admirer in Chief of spring flowers, including these crocuses I snapped five days ago in our downtown yard.

I can also report that the first thyme and chives from our herb bed showed up in tonight’s roast chicken and (last year’s frozen) kale – so the new eat-from-home season is underway.
