Glorious, glorious day, though nippy at the outset. After a dark day of pounding rain and big winds, April 11, 2009, the first day of the 2009 Lexington Farmers Market season, dawned cloudy and cleared as daylight came. See two sets of photos below.
The Market promises to flourish in its new downtown location on Cheapside and Short, nestled near beautiful old limestone foundations and intact buildings instead of the construction debris of past summers.
