With a real freezer chillin’ in the kitchen for the first time ever this year, we are eating more delicious local foods than ever before. Two weeks ago I realized I no longer could remember all I had frozen and where I had put it. I made a freezer chart, which required poking around until I found out all the wonders in each shelf and bin.
Turns out I had already forgotten about the incredible Kentucky morels I sauteed in homemade country butter and froze in April. We’re having a package tonight with Elmwood Stock Farm sirloin kabob pieces. And more homemade country butter from Brook-lin Jersey milk.
